Wiring and setup steps
Is the XDR-4 SAE approved?
Yes. The XDR-4 is SAE J595 approved for directional flashing warning lamps. Rules on which colors you can run vary by state and vehicle type, so check your local regulations, especially for red and blue.
Will it work on a 24V truck?
Yes. It runs on anything from 10V to 30V DC, so 12V and 24V systems both work with no changes.
Can I sync multiple XDR-4 lights?
Yes. Wire multiple heads together to flash in unison or alternate.
Does it come with a harness or switch?
No. Each light has a 12" open-end pigtail that you wire to your own switch and a 5A fuse.
How do I mount it?
It surface mounts on any flat spot with the included M4 bolts and vibration foam pad. To mount it at a right angle, add the XDR-4 & XDR-5 90° mounting bracket.
What does the warranty cover?
