This kit now ships with our IP67 waterproof RGB Bluetooth LED controller. It is sealed and potted, so you can mount it where the wiring is shortest and let it get wet. Pair it once with the free Black Oak LED app. No hub, Wi-Fi, or cell signal needed.

RGB Marine Accent Lights
Small, sealed, and bright enough to make a statement. Use them for console, compartment, under-gunnel, map, and trailer lighting. Each light ships with an RGB wire lead, a rubber mounting pad, and a stainless steel screw kit.
Your Phone Is the Remote
Set any color, dim it, or run a show with fade, strobe, and music sync from the Black Oak LED app. The direct Bluetooth connection works offshore with no internet.
Marine-Grade RGB Wire
Insulated 22 AWG tinned-copper wire made for RGB runs. Tinned conductors resist the corrosion that kills bare copper in salt air. Choose 25–125 ft to reach every light from a single controller.

Can one controller run all 12 lights?
Yes. The controller has two 10A channels, which gives plenty of headroom for 12 RGB accent lights. You can also split the lights into two zones and control each one separately.
How much RGB wire do I need?
Measure the run from where you will mount the controller to each light and add the runs together, with a little extra for routing. If you already have wire run, choose "N/A" for the wire option.
Does the controller need to be mounted inside a console?
No. It is sealed to IP67, so it can be mounted in exposed spots that see rain, spray, and washdowns. It is not meant for permanent underwater mounting.
Does the app need Wi-Fi or cell service?
No. The Black Oak LED app connects straight to the controller over Bluetooth, so it works offshore with no signal. There is no hub, account, or subscription.
Will it work on a 24V system?
Yes. The controller accepts 12V to 24V DC with no jumpers or settings to change.
Can I add more lights later?
Yes. Extra RGB accent lights, RGB wire by the foot, and additional controllers are all sold separately.

I was impressed with the way that the lights cast light across the interior of my boat. My overhead T Top lights are too bright to run in the dark, so I installed the under gunnel lights to put light in the interior while still having the ability to have safe nighttime visibility.
