Congratulations to Joe M. – Winner of Black Oak’s January Giveaway!
We’re excited to announce Joe M. as the lucky winner of our January Giveaway! Joe is taking home one of our top-rated products: the 20-Inch Double Row Black Oak LED Pro Series 3.0 Light Bar, valued at $680!
Joe is a relatively new fan of Black Oak LED products, and we’re thrilled to share his story and build. His experience showcases how Black Oak LED products perform in real-world conditions and continue to exceed expectations.

What Joe Had to Say:
"I really like Black Oak. Years ago I was searching for some decent lights for a future project. I read reviews. I looked at everything I could get on build quality. I bookmarked Black Oak as a strong contender. I was pretty impressed with everything I had read. Well the project finally came alive (took a few years) when I happened on a one time deal. So… Lighting was once again on the table. Started going back through everything I had researched years ago and double checking the current status of each option. Once again Black Oak rose to the top.
Now I am in the Pacific Northwest, and this project is for a 4x4 off road vehicle. We do not hear about Black Oak around here as much as some other brands. I had absolutely no local examples to talk to anyone about. To be honest I know of no one else that has ever purchased Black Oak around here… I am sure there are a few I just have not met them yet.
So for ditch lights you want a large spread of coverage. Just nice even light over a large area. When I got to reading about the Black Oak spreaders (I know the term is for a light on a spreader bar on a boat and it is designed to cover the deck area in light) but that 120 degree dispersion is far superior to the typical 60 degree dispersion you get with most flood lights. Exactly what I want from a ditch light. I decided to give them a try. WOW! Absolutely the best light I have ever seen for a ditch light. Perfect. The build too… Seriously heavy-duty housing with a quality lens. A quality diode can last decades, what usually goes first is the driver and assorted wiring…. Without ripping them apart, everything I have seen from Black Oak suggests the rest of the internals are to the same standard of quality as everything you can see, touch and feel. That makes me happy with my purchase. I am so convinced I made the right choice I purchased 3 more for the back of my rig. I am really impressed. Now I do see a lot of other products from other companies on other people’s rigs. I look them over closely. I really think Black Oak is the better product. It is even less expensive than some of them…. Now you can get cheap, and you get what you pay for. You can get expensive, and sometimes you will get what you pay for. I really do not think you can get a better bang for your buck than these lights. I now know that with Black Oak I am getting what I am paying for…In fact I think I am getting a bargain.
Installation is simple… The Hardware is stainless steel and it is thick gage! I mean it is the little things that exude so much quality….. I see guys pay through the nose to get some top name brand and the damn mounting hardware is rusting on them, it is thin gage and just seems cheap… Really? They went cheap on the hardware? Makes me worried about how they saved a few pennies on the internals. I do not have that concern with these. Black Oak is definitely my go to now."
