I've spent the past few years building out my rig with the goal of pushing the limits of remote work. As such, I put a lot of time into researching lights that balanced durability, brightness, and coverage. Black Oak has nailed each category and I've been so impressed.
Most of my time is spent in the mountains of Southwest Colorado and the canyons of Utah but these lights have gone with me all over North America. From the -29°F of Jasper in January to the +127°F of Death Valley in August, I've never had an issue. In fact, I rely on the durability of the side lights taking the hits from low hanging branches to avoid ripping my radio antenna off!
By installing the red colored rock lights under the vehicle I created a low wattage / high brightness solution to camp lighting that doesn't ruin my night vision when I'm out enjoying a star filled night sky.
Whenever I take someone out camping and fire up the Black Oaks I get the same audible "WOW!" that I personally expressed when I fired these up for the first time. I think the brightness of these lights cannot be overstated and continues to put a smile on my face even after I first installed them.
