What do you do when you have a sailboat and want to use a Nitron XD, but don’t have a spot to mount it that isn’t going to blocked by sails ½ the time? Use a Sea-Sucker… Now I can move it from port to starboard depending on what tack I’m on. Sure, I don’ have the neatness of a fixed cable run, but I’ll take the portability over that for sure. I’ll try and send you guys a few better pictures when I actually get off the docks with this thing, but thought I’d share this now. I can’t believe the image it provides!

We built a mounting adapter plate that let us fix the optic to the base of an ACR spotlight. We were able to do this and still retain the pan control so the operator can turn the camera to any direction without changing course. Our first impression of the Items we purchased was the high quality of the machining and the solid packaging. When they were installed though... IT WAS GAME CHANGING! We couldn't believe how well everything worked! Way beyond our expectations! We use this equipment to navigate Lake Lanier at night in all types of conditions so we will be depending on it more than most!
